I was very impressed with Mr Talawadeker, he is friendly, courteous , and takes time to explain what is going on. My problem is with the acromioclavicular joint which he showed me on my x-ray. This gentleman is an asset to the hospital. Thankyou.

I received exemplary care from Mr Talawadekar at Furness General Hospital following a serious accident which required an emergency operation to an open fracture and dislocation of my ankle. Mr Talawadekar and his team have been superb.

I would strongly recommend Mr Talawadekar if you need orthopaedic surgery. He performed an operation for Dupuytren's contracture on my little finger and it was very successful in straightening my finger. The wound looks very neat. He is very friendly and approachable. He will listen to you and will answer any questions you may have. I was very impressed.

After fracturing my right collar bone I needed an operation. I found Mr Talawadekar and his team very helpful and supportive. I was scheduled to have my op on a thursday morning in June, but due to emergency ops being required I went home after Mr Talawadekar and explained the reason why and he reassured me that he would phone me personally the following morning by 8.00. he phoned at 7.30 and I returned to hospital for the op. Mr Talawadekar sopke to me in the anti theatre before the op and came to check I was ok when I was back on the ward. I have had three visits to the fracture clinic since and from the receptionist, nurses and consultants I have been treated as an individual and they have always explained everything clearly to me. I have great admiration and praise for all the team and would like to thank Mr Talawadekar for his care and a very neat operation.
